KC Elite Athletics’ is home to KC Elite teams formally run under the KC Sluggers umbrella and managed by Rod Myers. KC Elite is a group of select teams currently for the following age groups: 14U, 15U, 16U, and 18U. All teams are competitive traveling teams with coaches that have been selected that have previous professional or collegiate baseball knowledge and experience.
Currently all for teams have players that are from both sides of the state line. While many of players are from the southeast section of Kansas City Metro i.e. Lees Summit, Blue Springs and Warrensburg we also have some from as Canada and Garden City, KS. All players are selected by attending a pro-style try-out.
The teams all play in competitive tournaments and showcases. Over the last four seasons we have traveled to MO, KS, IL, OK, and TX. In addition we receive special invites to showcases from all throughout the United States. The following is a list of the tournament sites that is used to select our tournament schedule from.
