How long does the season last?

Fall seasons last from the end of August to October depending on which team you make. Spring/Summer teams run from March/July and high school teams run in the summer for about 7-9 weekends. Youth teams don’t play every weekend.

When does the season begin?

Fall high school teams usually start the 3rd week of August. Fall youth teams will start around the first of September.

Spring youth teams usually start around the first week of April.

Summer high school teams usually start the first of June.

Where will my child practice?

Practice schedules are usually complete once all tryouts and rosters are complete. Once they are completed they are entered into team calendars and released to our teams.

Does the team travel?

Yes we do travel. Younger teams usually travel about 1-2 tournaments. High school teams travel about 2-4 tournaments. We usually only travel to surrounding areas; Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas, Illionois and within Missouri. Usually within a 5 hour radius of Kansas City.

Is it required for me to stay at the team hotel?

Yes you have to stay in team hotel. We almost always play tournaments that are stay to play. Which means KC Elite will pick a hotel provided by the tournament director.  The cost is usually between $99 to $159 depending on the tournament and location.

We will always try and choose a Marriott hotel but sometimes that is not an option.

Hotel information will be provided by KC Elite with a 4 week in advanced notice so that teams can book rooms.

Who do I contact if I have a problem that needs to be resolved?

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Trisha at 816-699-1982

How many players do you carry on your team roster?

We typically carry between 12-13 players except on some 16u, 17u and 18u teams.

The reason we carry extra players is because on holder high school teams we have pitcher only players.

Who are your coaches?

On any team 11u and under we will have dad coaches. KC Elite prides theirselves on being different than other clubs in that we work very closely with our coaches. We provide coaches with coaching and instruction on how to teach baseball. In addition either Rod Myers, Steve Baker or any other coach from our staff attends practices/games regularly.

We provide paid coaches on teams 12u and up. We have a an experienced coaching staff with many of our coaches being KC Elite Alumni.
